Helping Local Women In Need Gain Their Independence

Opening Doors is a local nonprofit organization that operates Maria House and Teresa Shelter. They offer hospitality and opportunity to women, alone or with children, who need emergency or transitional housing and related support services.

Opening Doors provides goal setting and life skill training that will enable them to take care of themselves and achieve their full potential. Women are dependent when they first arrive at Opening Doors... independent when they leave. Maria House provides transitional housing, where residents can stay for as long as two years. Teresa Shelter offers short-term emergency shelter services and an extended stay program.

We'll Donate
on your Behalf

Opening Doors’ vision is to offer a variety of opportunities for women to affirm their dignity and to achieve their potential for independent living in an environment that will benefit the neighborhood. We not only share their vision, but we also want to join them and support them by raising funds to assist the shelters and the local women who are in need of a hand.

Our agency will donate $10 to Opening Doors on your behalf for every recommendation you send our way, and we'll add you to our monthly drawing for a $50 Gift Card.

Getting involved has never been so simple, or Free!
